When I started working with Mark one year ago, my fitness was declining, I was gaining middle age fat, and I was full of aches and pains. I was ready to accept age and the sedentary life that goes with it (including being overweight). Mark reversed all of that. Through his comprehensive training sessions, I have lost fat, gained endurance, increased muscle mass, and feel all-around great. He is mindful of my age and limits but pushes me to get results. He fine-tunes his training to fit my body’s needs, abilities, and limits. Needless to say, I’m wearing pants purchased before I had two kids — a small miracle that is all Mark. He is a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and supplements (which are food-based), but he is not pushy about any of it. He shares his knowledge, and you can take it or leave it. No judgment. He’s also a genuinely lovely person who works hard to make people feel welcome. I haven’t just gained fitness — I’ve also gained friends.

Dana Douglas

Mark is thoughtful in his programming and coaching and has a lot of evidence-based knowledge that I found interesting and helpful. He made me realize that despite years of strength training, I have some glaring weaknesses that can be improved, and he had plenty of ways to do this. He showed me exercises that I’m using to “bulletproof” my back so I don’t have to be injured again in the future. Mark’s ATG-based training is not a PT handing you a paper with some exercises on it and a free resistance band. Mark personally walks you through a program that will fix or strengthen your body for your sport or lifestyle. His friendly demeanour will keep you laughing through your session as well

His coaching style always prioritizes proper movement mechanics, which helps eliminate any injuries that could slow your training down.
