Mobility pertains to a joint's capacity for unobstructed movement across its entire range without discomfort. It combines flexibility (the ability to stretch a muscle) with strength, enabling active achievement of extended ranges of motion. Mobility is essential for joint health, posture, injury prevention, and overall performance whereas Stretching focuses on elongating the muscles. Its main aim is to enhance flexibility temporarily by altering muscle properties, thus increasing the range of motion.
